The purpose of Outreach & Community Education is to increase victim access to services as well as increase awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault. SAFE has a staff of trained professionals and volunteers who conduct a variety of presentations in the community, hoping to increase knowledge, explore opinions, and foster supportive responses to victims.
Topics are appropriate for the audience served and can cover an agency and services overview, domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, date rape, healthy relationships, signs of an abusive relationship, the effects of domestic violence or sexual assault, safety planning, and more.
