Browsing this site safely
Every page of this site has a Safety Exit button. Clicking it — or pressing the Esc key three times quickly — sends your browser away from this site immediately and opens a neutral page.
The Safety Exit button cannot erase your browsing history. If someone else can check the device you are using, please read the steps below, or use a computer at a library, a friend’s house, or your workplace instead.
If someone might check this device
- Use a private or incognito window. This keeps pages out of the history on most browsers, but it does not hide activity from monitoring software installed on the device.
- Clear your browsing history and downloads after you visit.
- Remember that a phone or internet bill may show calls and usage, and a shared account may sync history between devices.
- If you believe your device is being monitored, use a different device. Call us from a phone the other person does not have access to.
What this website collects
This website does not run third-party advertising trackers or analytics. Reading these pages does not create a record about you at SAFE.
If you submit a volunteer, employment, or board application through this site, that information is stored on our own system and is used only to consider your application. It is not shared with anyone outside the agency, and it is deleted according to our retention schedule.
Client records are never kept on this website. Information about people who receive services from SAFE is protected by federal law and is held separately.
